You can remove thermostat if you desire, doing so speeds up the repair process. Thermostat can be re- installed after the repair process is complete. After draining, run clean water through system and re-drain. If you have tried an- other sealer be sure to use our Fusion Coolant-System Flush and now flush system to remove any water-glass. Next, add Fusion Head Gasket Sealer® to system & fill with water. Start the engine and allow to idle with sealers running through system for 20 minutes. Then turn-off engine and allow to cool. This is called a “run-cycle” perform 3 run-cycles back-to-back then drive for 5-10 minutes keeping speeds below 45mph. Then check progress of repair. You can continue these run-cycles and drive times until all symptoms have been corrected or you have reached a total of 15 run-cycles. If all symptoms have been cor- rected, drain sealer out of system and refill with new coolant/anti- freeze. Some vehicles may require more sealer to achieve a full- seal, simply contact Customer Service and request a *free treat- ment to fully complete the repair. Repairs can last up to 6-7 years. Fusion®Ultra-Strength Oil Stop-Leak: This is a very advanced product. It is the only oil stop-leak which can be used in both engine oil applications and hydraulic fluid systems. No other brand on the planet can offer this ability. Simply add Ultra-Strength Oil Stop-Leak to your existing engine oil, no need to drain any old oil, as each Oil Stop-Leak bottle is just 8oz. Next, idle engine for 20 minutes. This is allows the sealer to start working. After the idle time, simply forget the sealer is in the system. Use vehicle as normal. Our Fusion Ultra-Strength Oil Stop-Leak is a “non-thickening”, “non-hardening” sealer so it can stay in the system with no negative effects until your next oil chan- ge or can be permanently left-in when used in hydraulic systems.
